TEACHER RUTH, Piano Teacher
Ruth Celerio Inocencio Bagtas is the eldest granddaughter of National Artist for Music and Literature Levi Celerio.
She is a graduate of the UST Conservatory of Music (cum laude) with a degree in Music Education (Piano Major).
She was a Music Teacher in the intermediate & high school level for 6 years in Alabang and in Sucat, Metro Manila.
Teacher Ruth has been teaching home-based individual piano lessons for more than 20 years.
An active member of the Piano Teachers' Guild of the Philippines Foundation Inc., she has attended numerous seminars and webinars on teaching and continues to do so.
Teacher Ruth's students are active participants in numerous avenues for performing: piano festivals, recitals, an ensemble competition, concerts, and international piano exams (ABRSM).
Her innate passion and patience to teach music shows in her many years of teaching various age and skills levels. Her list of students consists of Filipino nationals, foreign nationals, students aged 4 to 60, gifted individuals, introverts, extroverts, and individuals with special needs.
