Communities That CARE Project
April is Autism Awareness Month and we have started a project called Communities That CARE, an autism awareness project.
This project aims to increase awareness in the various communities in the Philippines.
The work is never done until persons with autism are understood and accepted as fellow members of society and appreciated for their skills and talents.
Oftentimes, relatives, neighbors and other community members are not well-informed about autism and this may lead to a lot of misconceptions and even lack of harmony in the community.
Hence, the acronym CARE stands for Community Awareness Resource.
If you would like to help create more compassionate communities, join us as a volunteer as we engage the community towards becoming more aware of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Together let us spread autism awareness, understanding and compassion in our own communities.
