Why Perfect Soul?

Sakmhya Philosophy, upon which yoga is based, holds that we are made up of Matter (Prakriti) and Pure Consciousness (Purusha), also called the Soul.

Unlike the physical body which is matter, the Soul is an unchangeable entity that is untouched by the material world.

Illnesses and impairments are only on the physical level.

They do not affect the soul.
